Not to worry, Wink, a green salon on Vanderbilt Ave in Prospect Heights, may be the salon for you. Founded by Tani Chambers, who wants to be more eco-conscious, Wink boasts guilt-free facials and manicures and non-toxic soaps. She also installed furniture made from salvaged wood and uses biodegradable slippers and toe-separators.
