End of the Line

Fish comes up again and again on the blog. Well, that's because it's such an important issue.  Scientists predict that if we continue fishing as we are now, we will see the end of most seafood by 2048.  Read that again.  End of the Line is a new doc. coming out about the crisis in our oceans.  It's coming Village Cinema in NY on June 19. Go see the film. Re-think the way you eat seafood. Get involved. Support their work to solve the overfishing crisis.

watch the trailer and other clips.

WHAT YOU CAN DO. only eat sustainable seafood. ask when you get sushi how your fish was caught and where it came from.  make sure you have THESE DOWNLOADABLE WALLET GUIDES when you dine out (and not take-out we hope).

There is a new show called Whale Wars on t.v. that is pretty interesting. It's about a crew that goes out and advocates saving whales from fisherman. It was pretty incredible the length they would go to protect them.
